FreeTCF is a study app for the TCF Canada, the French test used for Canadian immigration and citizenship. It brings together the questions that are publicly available for the test and the tools you need to work through them, on the web, iPhone and Android.
Practice with real question types
- Free TCF Canada questions: study and take practice tests with the publicly available questions.
- Difficulty levels: questions are sorted by difficulty, so you can start where you are and move up level by level.
- Answers and explanations: for listening and reading questions, see the reasoning behind each answer, not just the letter.
Get better at writing and speaking
- AI writing review: AI corrects grammar and spelling, and can polish, rewrite or expand your text.
- Pronunciation: learn how French sounds are made and get your pronunciation corrected.
- Dictionary: look up and translate words with OpenAI and DeepL while you study.
Keep track of your progress
Save the questions you want to review in your favorites, and let the mistake book collect the ones you got wrong. Going back over your weak spots is the fastest way to raise your score.
Where to use it
FreeTCF works in the browser and as an app:
- On the web: sign in with your email. We send you a sign-in link and a code, and an account is created for you the first time.
- On iPhone: App Store
- On Android: Google Play, or download the APK
